Bird & Sausage Gumbo Cookoff
A Louisiana Gumbo Tradition Built on Fire, Flavor, and Friendly Rivalry
The Bird & Sausage Gumbo Cookoff is back and doing exactly what it should. Big pots. Serious recipes. Loud opinions. A whole lot of gumbo. Join us Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds for a full day of food, music, and community.
This family-friendly event blends friendly competition with a good cause. Come hungry. Leave full. Debate which pot should have taken home the trophy.
